Miles Overview
The Wrangler is Jeep's compact off-roader, the one you see everywhere from mall parking lots to Moab. The ride is bouncy and the soft top gets loud at highway speeds, so it's not a quiet cruiser. You get a removable top and doors, a fold-down windshield, and a cabin that's easy to hose out after a muddy trail. Owners say it's dependable if you keep up with maintenance, though age brings minor quirks like electrical gremlins. Stepping up to the Renegade from the Base or Islander gets you bigger tires, body-color fender flares, and a sportier look that matches its trail-ready attitude. The Renegade comes with the 4.0L I6 and four-wheel drive, giving you plenty of low-end grunt for crawling over rocks or pulling through mud.
