Miles Overview
The MDX is Acura's three-row SUV, a family hauler that still feels eager on a twisty road. It drives more like a sporty sedan than a big SUV, with responsive steering and a firm, controlled ride. Inside, the cabin is roomy and upscale, with comfortable seats and a third row that's best for kids. Some owners mention the rearview camera lacks guide lines and that the A/C can act up intermittently. The Base trim gives you Acura's Super Handling All-Wheel Drive and a 3.7L V6, skipping the Technology package's navigation and premium audio. Its 3.7L V6 makes 300 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic and all-wheel drive that hustles this SUV through corners like a much smaller car. Expect 17 mpg combined from the 3.7L V6, which is typical for a heavy three-row SUV from this era.
