Miles Overview
The 2001 Odyssey is a full-size minivan built for families who need space and versatility. It drives easily and feels smaller than it is, with a smooth ride that makes long trips comfortable. The cabin is roomy and practical, with power sliding doors, plenty of cup holders, and seats that fold flat for cargo. Owners report high mileage with minimal issues, though transmission problems are a known concern on higher-mileage examples. Power sliding doors and flip-forward second-row seats set this trim apart, giving families the convenience the base model lacks. Under the hood is Honda's 3.5L V6 making 210 horsepower paired with a automatic transmission, which moves this minivan with authority and returns 18 mpg combined. The available rear-seat DVD entertainment system is a welcome addition on this trim, keeping kids occupied on long drives.
