Miles Overview
The 2009 Civic is Honda's compact car, offered as a coupe or sedan and competing with the Corolla and Mazda3. It's a light, nimble car that's genuinely fun to hustle down a back road, and the steering is direct and quick. The cabin feels roomier than the exterior suggests, with a deep trunk and easy-to-reach controls, though rear legroom is snug. The Si is the enthusiast's Civic, with a high-revving 2.0L I4 and a six-speed manual that the standard EX doesn't offer. Its 2.0L I4 makes 197 horsepower and the six-speed manual is a joy to row through, with a short, precise shifter that makes every shift feel deliberate. The Si gets a limited-slip differential up front, so you can power through corners with confidence and less understeer than the front-drive norm.
