Miles Overview
The 2009 Civic is Honda's compact car, offered as a coupe or sedan and competing with the Corolla and Mazda3. It's a light, nimble car that's genuinely fun to hustle down a back road, and the steering is direct and quick. The cabin feels roomier than the exterior suggests, with a deep trunk and easy-to-reach controls, though rear legroom is snug. The EX sits above the LX and LX-S trims, adding alloy wheels, a sunroof, and a six-speaker audio system as standard equipment. Its 1.8L I4 makes 140 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, which is smooth but can feel a bit lazy when you want to pass quickly.
