Miles Overview
The Civic is Honda's compact sedan and hatchback, a perennial benchmark in the class. It squares off against the Toyota Corolla, Mazda3, and Hyundai Elantra. The Civic's steering is quick and precise, making it genuinely enjoyable on a back road. The ride is firm and controlled, a trade-off for the sharp handling. Both body styles offer a spacious rear seat and a generous trunk or cargo area for the class. The LX is the base Civic, with steel wheels and cloth seats, but it still gets the full Honda Sensing suite and a 7-inch touchscreen. Its 2.0L I4 makes 150 horsepower and pairs with a CVT, delivering 36 mpg combined.
