Miles Overview
The 2016 Civic is Honda's compact sedan and coupe, facing the Toyota Corolla, Mazda3, and Ford Focus. The Civic steers crisply and rides with a composed, mature feel that makes it genuinely enjoyable on a back road. Inside, the Civic offers a modern, tech-forward cabin with available touchscreen infotainment and a backup camera on many trims. Honda's reputation for dependability carries over, though some owners note a touchy tire pressure light and modest interior materials. Leather upholstery, heated front seats, and the full 7-inch touchscreen with navigation mark the Touring as the range-topping Civic trim for 2016. The sedan's 1.5L I4 pairs with a CVT automatic and gets 35 mpg combined, which adds up to quick step-off and great fuel economy for daily driving. Only the Touring includes rain-sensing windshield wipers and a premium 10-speaker audio system that makes the commute a little more enjoyable.
