Miles Overview
The 2016 Civic is Honda's compact sedan and coupe, facing the Toyota Corolla, Mazda3, and Ford Focus. The Civic steers crisply and rides with a composed, mature feel that makes it genuinely enjoyable on a back road. Inside, the Civic offers a modern, tech-forward cabin with available touchscreen infotainment and a backup camera on many trims. Honda's reputation for dependability carries over, though some owners note a touchy tire pressure light and modest interior materials. Its 1.5L I4 makes 174 horsepower and pairs with a CVT, giving it a responsive feel and 35 mpg combined. The EX-T adds fog lights, a moonroof, and heated front seats that the EX doesn't have.
