Miles Overview
The 2009 Civic is Honda's compact car, offered as a coupe or sedan and competing with the Corolla and Mazda3. It's a light, nimble car that's genuinely fun to hustle down a back road, and the steering is direct and quick. The cabin feels roomier than the exterior suggests, with a deep trunk and easy-to-reach controls, though rear legroom is snug. The Si is the performance king of the Civic lineup, sitting above the LX and EX with a high-revving engine and a limited-slip differential. Its 2.0L I4 makes 197 horsepower and loves to rev, paired with the six-speed manual that rewards quick, precise shifts. The Si's helical limited-slip differential helps put power down through corners without the inside wheel spinning.
