Miles Overview
The 2005 Civic is Honda's compact car, sold as a coupe, sedan, or hatchback, and it's the model most people cross-shop with the Corolla and Sentra. It's not quick, but the Civic feels light and nimble, with a turning radius that makes parking and U-turns a breeze. The cabin is roomier than the exterior suggests, though the backseat is tight in coupe form and some interior bits show wear with age. Reliability is the Civic's strong suit, with owners reporting few issues beyond routine maintenance and the occasional worn-out strut or alternator. A moonroof and keyless entry set the EX apart from the LX and VP trims below it. The 1.7L I4 makes 127 horsepower, and the four-speed automatic shifts smoothly enough for daily driving but won't win any races.
