Miles Overview
The Civic is Honda's compact car, offered as a coupe or a sedan for 2000. The cabin feels roomier than the exterior suggests, though rear headroom is tight for tall passengers. Owners report this generation is reliable and easy to work on, with affordable parts and plenty of online guides. The VP adds a stereo and a few more convenience items over the base DX, but still skips the power windows and cruise control of the EX. Its 1.6L I4 makes 106 horsepower and pairs with a automatic transmission, delivering the modest acceleration you'd expect from a commuter car.
