Miles Overview
This is a full-size pickup from the era when trucks were still trucks, built for work before luxury became the priority. The ride is firm and the steering has that old-school vagueness, which is just how trucks felt back then. The interior is simple and hard-wearing, with cloth seats and plastic trim that hold up better than you'd expect. A well-maintained example from this generation is known to run for hundreds of thousands of miles with basic care. The SL is the base work truck, so you get vinyl or cloth seats and crank windows instead of the SLE's power windows and nicer trim. Its 5.7L V8 sends power through a four-speed automatic to all four wheels, which gives you the traction to pull a trailer out of a muddy job site.
