Miles Overview
The Sierra 1500 is GMC's full-size pickup, the one you cross-shop with the Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado. It drives like a proper full-size truck, with a commanding view and a ride that's more about hauling than carving corners. Inside, the cabin is straightforward and built to work, with durable materials and plenty of room for three across the bench. Reliability is generally solid, though some owners have reported transmission issues as the miles pile up. The SLE adds power windows, power door locks, and cruise control over the Work Truck, making it the better choice if you actually live in your truck. Under the hood is a 5.3L V8 paired with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive, giving it plenty of low-end grunt for towing and daily driving.
