Miles Overview
The 2013 Terrain is GMC's compact SUV, a bit larger than the Ford Escape and Honda CR-V, which gives it extra cargo room. It drives with a truck-like feel, sitting high and feeling heavy, which makes it stable but not particularly quick off the line. Inside, the cabin is roomy with comfortable seats, and the rear seats slide and fold flat to haul big items like a daybed. Some owners have reported timing chain issues and a lack of rear air vents, so check those when you inspect one. The Denali is the top trim of the Terrain range, adding unique styling and extra equipment over the SLT models. It uses a 3.6L I6 paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, good for 20 mpg combined.
