Miles Overview
The Terrain is GMC's compact SUV, the one you'll cross-shop with the Ford Escape and Honda CR-V. It rides smoothly and quietly, and the cabin stays hushed even at highway speeds, which makes long trips easy. The rear seats slide fore and aft and fold flat, so you can fit a surprising amount of gear in the back. Owners mention the lack of rear air vents, which can leave back-seat passengers warm in summer and cold in winter. The SLE-2 is the sweet-spot trim for buyers who want the Denali's upscale look without the price, adding a power driver seat and bigger wheels over the SLE-1. Under the hood is a 3.6L I6 paired with the six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which gives you confident traction in snow or rain without the cabin feeling noisy on the highway. This trim unlocks the available Navigation and Bose premium audio package, though the standard cloth seats hold up well and stay comfortable on long drives.
