Miles Overview
The 2017 Terrain is a compact SUV that slots below the Acadia, offering a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. It competes with the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V, and Chevrolet Equinox, though the Terrain leans more toward a truck-like feel. The Terrain handles predictably and rides comfortably on the highway, though the ride can feel firm over rough pavement. The cabin features a sliding rear seat that boosts legroom or cargo space, and the rear seats fold flat for larger loads. Available tech includes a rearview camera, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, and a touchscreen infotainment system. The Denali is the top trim, so you get the most luxury and style without stepping up to a larger SUV.
