Miles Overview
The LaCrosse is Buick's mid-size sedan for 2005, the model that replaced the Century and Regal in the lineup. It's a calm, quiet cruiser that feels at home on the highway, with a ride that's more about comfort than sport. The cabin is roomy and comfortable, with wide seats that owners say feel like living-room furniture, and the trunk is generous. Owners report few major issues beyond regular maintenance, though a few mention minor electrical gremlins like a finicky key fob or a broken vent. The 3.6L V6 makes 240 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque, routed through a four-speed automatic to the front wheels, and returns 20 mpg combined. The CXS also gets a sport-tuned suspension that firms up the ride a bit, which is the trade for sharper handling than the base car.
