Miles Overview
The LaCrosse is Buick's mid-size sedan for 2006, the car that replaced the Century and Regal in the lineup. It's a smooth, quiet cruiser that feels at home on the highway, with a ride that soaks up bumps without fuss. The cabin is genuinely roomy, with wide, supportive seats and a trunk that swallows luggage for a road trip. Owners say the gas mileage is fair, and insurance can run higher than you'd expect for a car in this price range. The CX is the entry LaCrosse, with cloth seats and manual adjustments instead of the CXL's leather and power front seats. Its 3.8L V6 makes 200 horsepower and pairs with a four-speed automatic, which shifts smoothly but doesn't hunt for gears like a modern unit. The CX's 16-inch steel wheels and smaller tires give a slightly softer ride than the CXL's alloy-wheel setup.
