Miles Overview
The 1999 Camaro is Chevrolet's rear-wheel-drive pony car, available as a coupe or a convertible. Owners praise the acceleration and raw power, noting it gets up and goes instantly when you need to pass. The back seat is very tight, really only suitable for small children, and the trunk is oddly shaped and small. Common issues as these age include alternator failures, leaky T-tops, and electrical gremlins like the radio cutting out. The Z28 is the step up from the base Camaro, adding a 5.7L V8 and sharper suspension tuning for serious performance. Its 5.7L V8 drives the rear-wheel drive through a six-speed manual or four-speed automatic, with a 0-60 time around 5.5 seconds.
