Miles Overview
The 2015 Camaro is Chevrolet's muscle car, sold as a coupe or convertible and aimed squarely at the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger. It rides on a stiff platform that keeps body roll in check, so you can hustle it down a back road with confidence. The cabin feels snug, and the high beltline and small windows make it tough to see out, but the front seats are supportive and the backseat is roomier than a Mustang's. Owners report that the convertible top can leak on earlier models, and the stock tires wear quickly, so budget for replacements. The SS is the V8 Camaro for buyers who want the full muscle-car experience, skipping the ZL1's supercharger cost. Its 6.2L I8 makes 426 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque, and the six-speed automatic snaps off quick shifts while you enjoy the rumble. This convertible SS drops the top for open-air cruising, but the added weight and wind noise are the trade-offs to expect.
