2015 Chevrolet Camaro 1SS

The 2015 Camaro is Chevrolet's muscle car, sold as a coupe or convertible and aimed squarely at the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger. It rides on a stiff platform that keeps body roll in check, so you can hustle it down a back road with confidence. The cabin feels snug, and the high beltline and small windows make it tough to see out, but the front seats are supportive and the backseat is roomier than a Mustang's. Owners report that the convertible top can leak on earlier models, and the stock tires wear quickly, so budget for replacements. The 1SS upgrades from the 2LT's V6 to the 6.2L V8, adding the SS's firmer suspension and bigger brakes while skipping the 2SS's leather and upgraded audio. The 1SS's standard limited-slip differential helps you put that power down out of corners, though the ride is firm and you'll feel sharp bumps.
