Miles Overview
The Edge is Ford's five-seat midsize crossover, a step up from the Escape and a common pick for families who want more room without moving to a three-row SUV. It drives with a planted, confident feel, and the steering is nicely weighted, so it's easy to place on the road. The ride is smooth and well controlled, and the front seats are supportive, which makes long trips easy. Inside, there's generous space for four adults, and the rear seat fits three car seats across without a fight. The SE is the base Edge, skipping the SEL's and Titanium's extra luxuries but keeping the same strong 3.5L V6 and roomy interior. Its 3.5L V6 pairs with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, giving you 21 mpg combined and a smooth, confident pull from a stop.
