Miles Overview
The 2016 Flex is Ford's boxy three-row SUV, a wagon-like alternative to the Explorer and the minivan you might also be considering. Inside, the Flex is genuinely roomy: three rows of seats fit adults in a pinch, and the boxy shape means headroom and cargo space are generous. The SYNC touchscreen handles audio and climate, but it can be distracting to use while driving, so you'll likely rely on the steering wheel controls. That 3.5L V6 pairs with a six-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, which means you get strong passing power even with a full load. The Limited's standard leather upholstery and heated front seats make it feel more upscale than the cloth-trimmed SEL.
