Miles Overview
The Grand Caravan was Dodge's family hauler, the minivan that basically invented the segment and still defined it in 2007. It drives like a minivan should: easy to maneuver in tight spots, with a smooth ride that soaks up highway miles without fuss. The cabin is all about practicality, with Stow 'n Go seats that fold flat into the floor, leaving a huge cargo area when you need it. Reliability was a known weak spot, with some owners reporting transmission issues and electrical problems as the van aged. The SXT skips a few of the SE's luxury touches but keeps the same practical layout and the more powerful 3.8L V6. With the 3.8L V6 and automatic transmission, it's a willing cruiser that returns 18 mpg combined.
