Miles Overview
The Grand Caravan is Dodge's minivan, the one that's been around for ages and still does the family-hauling job without fuss. It drives like a big, soft-riding people mover, which is exactly what you want when the back seats are full of kids and gear. The cabin is all about practicality, with Stow 'n Go seats that fold flat into the floor and a huge cargo bay behind the third row. Running costs are on the affordable side for a minivan, with reasonable insurance and maintenance that won't break the bank. The GT adds the Uconnect 8.4-inch touchscreen, a power liftgate, and leather upholstery over the SXT, while skipping the Express's cost-cutting deletions. Its 3.6L V6 makes 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, routed through a six-speed automatic to the front wheels, and returns 20 mpg combined. The GT's standard sport suspension firms up the ride a touch, but the trade is less body roll when the van is loaded down.
