Miles Overview
It's Dodge's minivan, the one that has kept the family-hauler segment honest for years. The Grand Caravan drives with a planted, stable feel that makes highway trips easy, though the steering is a bit light. Inside, you get three rows of seating and the clever Stow 'n Go system that folds the second and third rows flat into the floor. Cargo space is generous with the seats stowed, and the low step-in height makes loading kids and gear simple. Stepping up to the SXT from the SE adds power sliding doors, tri-zone climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel that make daily family duty feel a bit more upscale. The 3.6L V6 sends 283 horsepower through a six-speed automatic to the front wheels, which is plenty of grunt for merging onto highways with a full load of passengers and gear. The SXT's available rear DVD entertainment system with wireless headphones is a lifesaver on long trips, keeping the back rows occupied while you focus on the road.
