Miles Overview
The 2023 Challenger is a two-door muscle coupe that keeps the classic long-hood, short-deck look while offering a four-door Charger sibling. It squares off against the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro, but the Challenger is the roomiest and most comfortable of the three. On the road the Challenger feels planted and stable, with a relaxed gait that suits long highway miles better than canyon carving. The ride is smooth and the front seats are generously sized, making it a genuinely comfortable grand tourer for two. Inside you get a straightforward cabin with easy-to-use controls, and the trunk is surprisingly large for a coupe. Stepping up to the GT from the SXT adds a functional hood scoop, SRT front splitter, and 20-inch satin carbon wheels that sharpen the look without forcing you into the V8. The 3.6L V6 makes 303 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drive, giving you all-weather traction that the rear-drive Mustang and Camaro can't match. The GT's all-wheel-drive system uses an active transfer case with front-axle disconnect, so it saves fuel on dry pavement and still hooks up in snow.
