2023 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack

The 2023 Challenger is a two-door muscle coupe that keeps the classic long-hood, short-deck look while offering a four-door Charger sibling. It squares off against the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro, but the Challenger is the roomiest and most comfortable of the three. On the road the Challenger feels planted and stable, with a relaxed gait that suits long highway miles better than canyon carving. The ride is smooth and the front seats are generously sized, making it a genuinely comfortable grand tourer for two. Inside you get a straightforward cabin with easy-to-use controls, and the trunk is surprisingly large for a coupe. The R/T Scat Pack swaps the R/T's 5.7L V8 for the 6.4L V8 and adds Brembo brakes, a limited-slip diff, and a sport-tuned suspension. The 6.4L V8 makes 485 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed manual and rear-wheel drive, and returns 17 mpg combined. The Tremec six-speed manual is standard, but you can option an eight-speed automatic if you prefer not to shift yourself.
