Miles Overview
The 2015 Challenger is Dodge's retro-styled muscle coupe, going up against the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro. It drives with a heavy, planted feel that suits its muscle-car character, and the steering is direct enough to place it confidently. The cabin is roomy up front with big, comfortable seats, but the rear seat is tight and the thick pillars create sizable blind spots. Some owners mention the windows auto-drop a bit when opening the doors, which can be a hassle in freezing weather. Its 5.7L V8 makes 375 horsepower and pairs with a 5-speed automatic or 6-speed manual, sending power to the rear-wheel drive with a deep, rumbling exhaust note that's unmistakable. The Shaker package's functional hood scoop shakes with the engine at idle, a visual and aural cue that this Challenger means business.
