Miles Overview
The 2015 Challenger is Dodge's retro-styled muscle coupe, going up against the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro. It drives with a heavy, planted feel that suits its muscle-car character, and the steering is direct enough to place it confidently. The cabin is roomy up front with big, comfortable seats, but the rear seat is tight and the thick pillars create sizable blind spots. Some owners mention the windows auto-drop a bit when opening the doors, which can be a hassle in freezing weather. Stepping up to the SXT Plus adds leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a larger touchscreen over the base SXT, making it a noticeably nicer place to spend time. Its 3.6L V6 makes 305 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic, giving you enough punch for daily driving while returning 23 mpg combined. The SXT Plus can be ordered with a sunroof and a nine-speaker audio system, but the suspension stays comfort-oriented rather than sporty.
