Miles Overview
The 2020 Charger is a full-size sedan that blends muscle-car attitude with four-door practicality, a rare combination in its class. It squares off against the Toyota Avalon and Kia Stinger, but none of them offer a supercharged V8 option like the Charger's Hellcat. The Charger drives with a smooth, planted feel that belies its size, and the V8 models deliver serious straight-line punch when you ask for it. Inside, the Charger offers a spacious cabin with comfortable seats and a user-friendly touchscreen, though the trunk is modest for a car this large. The GT gives you the V6's all-wheel-drive traction for winter confidence, stepping up from the rear-drive SXT while skipping the V8 power and cost of the R/T. Its 3.6L V6 makes 300 horsepower and routes through the eight-speed automatic to all four wheels, delivering sure-footed acceleration and 21 mpg combined combined. The standard Sport Mode sharpens throttle and shift response, and the active transfer case with front-axle disconnect helps save fuel on dry pavement.
