Miles Overview
The Charger is Dodge's full-size sedan, and it's the one that brings muscle-car attitude to four doors. It's a big car that drives smaller than it looks, with sharp steering and a firm, planted feel on the road. Inside, the cabin is roomy up front, but the rear seat is a bit tight for a car this size, and the thick pillars can make parking a challenge. The big touchscreen is a highlight, controlling climate, audio, and navigation, and it's easy to use on the go. The Police package swaps the Charger's standard interior for heavy-duty cloth seats, a vinyl rear bench, and delete options like the rear seat and center console to meet fleet needs. Under the hood is a 5.7L V8 making 370 horsepower, paired with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive for confident all-weather traction. Expect a firmer ride than the civilian Charger, as the Police version gets heavy-duty brakes, a calibrated suspension, and an external oil cooler for pursuit duty.
