Miles Overview
The 300 is Chrysler's full-size rear-drive sedan, the one that trades a bit of practicality for a long, low, imposing look. It drives smooth and quiet, with a planted feel that makes highway miles easy. The cabin is genuinely roomy, and the seats are comfortable enough for long trips. A few owners mention a water pump that can hum and need replacing, so it's worth a listen on a test drive. The base 300 gives you the same smooth ride and spacious cabin as the Varvatos Luxury editions, just without the designer trim and at a lower starting price. Its 3.6L I6 makes 292 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic, which is eager to upshift for the 31 mpg highway it can return on the highway. The standard suspension is tuned for comfort first, so you get a soft, absorbent ride rather than the cornering grip of the SRT8 models.
