Miles Overview
The 2016 Passat is Volkswagen's mid-size sedan, a roomy family hauler that goes up against the Camry and Accord. It rides smoothly and feels planted on the highway, with a quiet cabin that makes long trips easy. The interior is genuinely spacious, with a huge trunk and plenty of legroom for rear passengers. Owners often mention the comfortable seats and the roomy back seat, which make it a favorite for road trips. The SEL sits above the S and SE in the 2016 Passat range, adding the nicer touches you'd expect from a top-tier trim. Under the hood is a 1.8L I4 making 170 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic and front-wheel drive. This trim's the one to pick if you want the full tech package, with navigation and a premium audio system as part of the deal.
