Miles Overview
The 2016 Passat is Volkswagen's mid-size sedan, a roomy family hauler that goes up against the Camry and Accord. It rides smoothly and feels planted on the highway, with a quiet cabin that makes long trips easy. The interior is genuinely spacious, with a huge trunk and plenty of legroom for rear passengers. Owners often mention the comfortable seats and the roomy back seat, which make it a favorite for road trips. The 1.8T R-Line adds sporty styling touches and unique wheels to the SE's equipment, giving the Passat a sharper look without the V6's fuel penalty. Its 1.8L I4 makes 170 horsepower and pairs with an automatic transmission, delivering smooth, quiet acceleration that feels effortless on the highway.
