Miles Overview
The 2023 Atlas Cross Sport is Volkswagen's five-seat, coupe-styled SUV, slotting between the compact Tiguan and the three-row Atlas. Its main rivals include the Honda Passport, Ford Edge, and Nissan Murano, all offering similar two-row practicality. The Cross Sport feels stable and planted on the highway, with steering that is light but accurate around town. The cabin is roomy for four adults, and the sloping roofline still leaves enough cargo space for weekend luggage. Standard tech includes a digital gauge cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SE w/Technology trim splits the difference in the Cross Sport lineup, adding the larger touchscreen and wireless charging you'd want while skipping the SEL's premium audio and ventilated seats. Its 3.6L I6 makes 276 horsepower and pairs with automatic transmission; it's noticeably quicker than the base four-cylinder, with enough grunt for merging and passing without working hard.
