Miles Overview
The Atlas is Volkswagen's three-row family SUV, sized to take on the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. It drives with a composed, planted feel that's rare in this class, though the steering is light and easygoing. The cabin is genuinely roomy, with a third row that fits adults and a huge cargo area behind it. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available adaptive cruise control. Leather seating, ambient lighting, and the larger touchscreen set the Atlas SEL apart from the SE trim below it. This SEL pairs the 2.0L I4 with an eight-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, returning 22 mpg combined.
