Miles Overview
The Atlas is Volkswagen's three-row family SUV, sized to take on the Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. It drives with a composed, planted feel that's rare in this class, though the steering is light and easygoing. The cabin is genuinely roomy, with a third row that fits adults and a huge cargo area behind it. Standard tech includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus available adaptive cruise control. The SE is the mid-grade trim that adds conveniences like blind-spot monitoring and keyless entry over the base S, while skipping the SEL's premium audio and leather. Its 2.0L I4 makes 235 horsepower and pairs with the eight-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, delivering smooth power for daily driving and 22 mpg combined.
