Miles Overview
The Corolla is Toyota's compact sedan, the one that's been a default choice for practical buyers for decades. It's not quick, but the Corolla's light weight and eager steering make it feel nimble around town, and a manual gearbox adds some fun. The ride is on the firm side and road noise gets noticeable at highway speeds, a trade-off for the car's light weight and efficiency. The cabin is simple and a bit plain, but the rear seats fold down to extend the trunk, though only at an awkward angle. The CE is the value pick, skipping the LE's standard tachometer and better audio to save money. The 1.8L I4 makes 126 horsepower sent to the front-wheel drive wheels, enough for relaxed daily driving.
