Miles Overview
The 2024 Frontier is Nissan's mid-size pickup, slotting between the compact Maverick and full-size Titan. It squares off against the Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado, and Ford Ranger in the mid-size truck segment. The V6 pulls strongly from low revs, and the nine-speed shifts smoothly, making this one of the more eager mid-size trucks. The ride is firm and a bit busy over broken pavement, which is the trade-off for its composed, truck-like handling. The cabin is straightforward and durable, with comfortable seats and a simple layout that focuses on function. Stepping up to the SV adds convenience features like remote keyless entry and a larger touchscreen over the base PRO-X, while keeping the same strong V6. The 3.8L I6 makes 310 horsepower and pairs with the nine-speed automatic, and with four-wheel drive you get confident traction on loose surfaces or in snow.
