Miles Overview
The Frontier is Nissan's mid-size pickup, a straightforward workhorse that competes with the Tacoma and Colorado. It's a truck that feels honest and capable, with a ride that's a bit firm but composed on the highway. The cabin is functional but dated, with a back seat that's snug for adults and cloth seats that stain easily. Owners mention the gas mileage is thirsty for a mid-size, and a few have had minor electrical gremlins early on. Off-road hardware like Bilstein shocks, skid plates, and a locking rear differential set the PRO-4X apart from the SV trim below it. The 4.0L I6 makes 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic and four-wheel drive that handles trails and snow with ease.
