Miles Overview
The Frontier is Nissan's mid-size pickup, a straightforward workhorse that competes with the Tacoma and Colorado. It's a truck that feels honest and capable, with a ride that's a bit firm but composed on the highway. The cabin is functional but dated, with a back seat that's snug for adults and cloth seats that stain easily. Owners mention the gas mileage is thirsty for a mid-size, and a few have had minor electrical gremlins early on. The SV skips the PRO-4X's off-road hardware and skid plates, saving thousands for pavement duty. Its 4.0L I6 makes 261 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic that shifts smoothly, though 19 mpg combined is thirsty for a mid-size truck. The SV's standard suspension is tuned for payload and towing, so expect a firmer ride than a Tacoma SR5.
