Miles Overview
The 2013 NV is Nissan's full-size work van, built to haul cargo and people with the same straightforward purpose as the Ford E-Series and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It drives like a proper truck, with a high seating position and a firm ride that keeps you connected to the road, though the steering is on the heavy side. The cabin is plain and functional, with durable materials and a huge windshield that gives you a commanding view of traffic ahead. Cargo space is cavernous, and the tall roof lets you stand up inside to move gear around, which is a big plus for delivery work. The NV comes in two roof heights and two wheelbases; this is the standard-roof model, which still fits a 4x8 sheet of plywood flat on the floor. Its 5.6L I8 makes 317 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque, paired with a five-speed automatic that shifts smoothly under load, so it pulls hard even when the van is full. The standard roof means you cannot stand inside, but it fits standard garage heights and cuts wind noise on the highway.
