Miles Overview
The Frontier is Nissan's mid-size pickup, a straightforward workhorse that competes with the Tacoma and Colorado. It's a truck that feels honest and capable, with a ride that's a bit firm but composed on the highway. The cabin is functional but dated, with a back seat that's snug for adults and cloth seats that stain easily. Owners mention the gas mileage is thirsty for a mid-size, and a few have had minor electrical gremlins early on. The PRO-4X is the off-road specialist of the Frontier lineup, trading a bit of payload capacity for Bilstein shocks and skid plates. The PRO-4X adds an electronic locking rear differential and hill descent control, so you can tackle rocky climbs with confidence.
