Miles Overview
The 2011 Frontier is Nissan's mid-size pickup, a straightforward truck that competes with the Tacoma and Colorado. It drives more like a car than you'd expect from a truck, with a strong engine and a 4WD system that handles snow and trails with ease. The ride is on the firm side, especially over bumps, but the front seats are comfortable and give you a commanding view of the road. The bed is a good size and comes with handy tie-downs, though the rear jump seats are tight for adults. Stepping up to the SV adds the 4.0L V6 and four-wheel drive over the base Frontier, giving you real capability for snow or trails. The 4.0L I6 makes 261 horsepower and pairs with a five-speed automatic, so it pulls hard from a stop and never feels underpowered on the highway.
