Miles Overview
The 2005 Frontier is Nissan's compact pickup, a smaller sibling to the Titan that still hauls a full bed load without complaint. The cabin is roomy up front with comfortable seats, though the rear seat in the two-door is tight for adults. Owners mention a squeaky clutch, a rattling heat shield, and a lousy turning radius as the main annoyances. The SE gets the 4.0L I6 over the XE's smaller engine, plus standard air conditioning and a nicer stereo. Its 4.0L I6 makes 265 horsepower and 284 lb-ft of torque, routed through a five-speed automatic to the rear wheels, and returns 16 mpg combined.
