Miles Overview
The 2023 Leaf is Nissan's all-electric hatchback, a straightforward EV that's been on sale for years and still undercuts most rivals on price. Inside, the Leaf offers a simple, roomy cabin with a decent-sized cargo area for a compact hatchback, though rear legroom is a bit tight for taller passengers. Running costs are low thanks to the electric powertrain, and the Leaf qualifies for federal tax credits that can significantly lower the effective price. Its electric motor makes 214 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque, which makes the Leaf feel genuinely quick around town and on the highway.
