Miles Overview
The LEAF is Nissan's all-electric hatchback, a practical commuter that competes with the Chevrolet Bolt and Tesla Model 3. The ride is smooth and quiet, though the cabin can get a bit noisy on rough pavement. The hatchback body offers decent cargo space for its size, and the rear seats fold down for extra room. Owners love the low running costs, with minimal maintenance and no gas bills, though range drops in cold weather. The S is the entry-level LEAF, skipping the SV and Plus trims' larger battery and extra power to keep the price down. Its electric motor makes 147 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, sent to the front wheels, and the EPA rates it at 149 miles of range.
