Miles Overview
The Altima is Nissan's mid-size sedan, the one that goes up against the Camry and Accord in America's most crowded car class. It's a smooth, easy commuter with a comfortable ride, and the steering is light enough that you'll feel relaxed in traffic. Inside, the cabin is roomy for four adults, and the trunk is genuinely big for the class, so it handles family duty well. A few owners mention minor interior trim loosening and occasional transmission oddities, but most report years of trouble-free miles. This sedan's 2.5L I4 pairs with a continuously variable transmission, and it delivers 31 mpg combined on regular fuel.
