Miles Overview
The 2017 Altima is Nissan's mid-size sedan, slotting between the smaller Sentra and the larger Maxima. It competes with the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, and Ford Fusion in the crowded family sedan segment. The Altima's ride is smooth and composed on the highway, though the CVT can feel lazy when you need quick acceleration. Inside, the cabin offers generous legroom and comfortable seats, with a trunk that easily swallows family luggage. The SL is the top Altima trim, adding leather upholstery, a Bose stereo, and heated front seats that the SR and SV trims don't offer.
